Enrolment at Mutiara Harapan Islamic School is straight forward, consisting of three steps

Step One - Enrolment Form

Get your enrolment form by filling in the link above: ‘Enrolment Form’. After you made your payment, you will receive the form and parents’ statement letter in your email.

Step Two - Observation and Interview

After we receive your enrolment documents (application form, parents statement letter with your signature, photocopy of KTP, KK, and birth certificate), there will be observation with a Child Psychologist, and for Secondary students there will be an academic observation (Math, Science, and English). Then you will have an interview with the Principal. All of this process will take place online.

Step Three - Acceptance

In a week, you will receive your child’s enrolment result through email. To confirm your seat, we require your confirmation and the payment of the required fees.

MUTIARA HARAPAN ISLAMIC SCHOOL (MHIS) is a private Islamic school, located in  South Tangerang, Indonesia. We are dedicated to nurturing our students with Islamic and innovative educational methods, while helping to mold them to be noble individuals spiritually, morally, and ethically, guiding them to academic excellence, and strong leadership abilities.

MHIS is a Cambridge International School since 2012, a leading Islamic school that combined national and international curriculum in South Tangerang. MHIS has become SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) previously known as ‘International School’ since January 2015 and has been accredited ‘A’ by the government. The School international environment is obvious from the presence of students and teachers from different nationalities interacting with one another in the spirit of Islamic unity.

Being an Islamic school means we emphasize an integrated and balanced student development – intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional and social based on the Islamic values. This means spiritual and character education is regarded as equally important as Intellectual education.

Mutiara Harapan Islamic School offers an educational experience in which students will be encouraged to achieve to their best potential, not only in academic but also talents. Our students are guided to be confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, engaged and caring citizens of the future. MHIS provides Muslim children excellent quality education for their overall development. They are taught moral values, self-discipline, leadership and various skills to face the dynamic of local and global challenges and opportunities of life with care, confidence and commitment.

Superior quality teaching and excellent facilities at the school enhance the students’ striving for educational excellence. Teachers and staff are supported to develop professionally in excellent working environment in order to deliver the best quality education to students.

Mutiara Harapan Islamic School (MHIS) was founded in 2005, started with several Kindergarten and Primary students.

2008 – Become an Inclusive School

2010 – Open Junior High level

2012 – Primary level got accredited ‘A’ by Diknas

2012 – Become Cambridge International School (ID272)

2013 – Open Development Class to support our Inclusive pillar

2014 – Junior High level got accredited ‘A’ by Diknas

2015 – Received SPK license by Kemdikbud

2016 – Open Senior High level

Mutiara Harapan Timeline

The educational program of Mutiara Harapan Islamic School has been developed with the ultimate aim to prepare students to be the best Muslim citizen possible.  That is one who consciously worships Allah (SWT) and diligently promotes Islamic values; according to the teachings of Al-Qur’an and Al-Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

MHIS curriculum is designed gradually across grade levels, increasing in complexity and level of mastery each year.  Teachers strive to help students make connections across curricular areas to provide experiences that stimulate learning in all developmental areas – spiritual, physical, social, emotional and intellectual – through an integrated approach to learning.

All parents dream that their children would be more successful in their life than themselves ever were. We believe school should be a place where the elements of a successful career and understanding how to contribute to society and the close ones in the family are strengthened. Student outcomes are our promise to parents and our students.

Believe and Obey to Allah SWT
1. Be Trustworthy and speak the truth. Be honest to others and primarily honest to Allah SWT. Change attitude and actions depending on company and circumstances–but with a sound reason, and in a “good” way. Uphold proper manners (adab) that are appropriate to the situation is from being true.
2. Be Discipline, because it is at the heart of any successful person. Be challenged with the nowadays situation that requires good routines and well-planned life.
3. Be Courteous by showing caring, empathy, respect and accepting others who are different in their race, culture and even beliefs. Care, accept and play with friends, show tolerance and realize that they want to be respected, have their ideas heard, and receive fair treatment from them just as they wanted the same.

Capable to lead
4. Be Responsible for your own future by taking ownership of your own learning. Work well independently but also with others. Understand that actions have impacts on others and on the environment. Appreciate the importance of culture, context, and community.

Capable to convey the ideas
5. Be Resilient to achieve targets that seem at first impossible to achieve and insist on completing them with pride in the outcome. Be able to communicate and defend views and opinions as well as respect those of others. In case of difficulties or opposition use advocacy (tabligh) to convey the ideas to concrete.

6.  Be Inquired. Stay curious to learn new skills and are receptive to new ideas with new technology. Be a lifelong learner that embody a spirit of inquiry and have the willingness to read deeper situation (iqra).

7. Be Confident in working with information and ideas – your own and those of others. Express confidently and creatively in more than one language and in many ways. Be confident and secure in the knowledge, unwilling to take things for granted and ready to take intellectual risks.
