At Mutiara Harapan Islamic School, students are offered the Cambridge Examination Pathway which is an internationally recognized assessment system that provides students with a comprehensive education and prepares them for higher education and the workforce. MHIS even prepares it since they are in Primary Level. They called it “Cambridge Checkpoint” which is designed to assess the students at the end of Primary. It enables schools to obtain an international benchmark of learner’s performance to identify and address learning needs in English, Mathematics and Science.

For Secondary level starting in grade 7, students take an Interest and Talent Counseling Test. The program is designed to help students explore their strengths and weaknesses, interests and aspirations, and to guide them towards choosing the right academic and career paths. This information is used to guide them in their studies and help them choose the appropriate subjects to take as they progress through the program.

As students progress to grade 10, they take the Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) assessment.
