This event reflects one of our commitments to showcase and develop our students’ talents and experience of learning. Following the success of last year school play entitled “Malin Kundang” and this year “Rencong: A True Dagger”, in shaa Allah we will have this program annually.
I would like to congratulate all of the secondary students, the performers, crew and everyone who made this remarkable event happen.
I truly believe that all of you will agree with me that a school play or drama is a significant way to learn English language. Drama in ancient Greek means “to act” or “to do” and in an educational sense, it is a way of “learning by doing”. Preparing this event, our children learned how to speak, how to act, how to design, how to promote, how to organize and most importantly, they learned the value of unity, cooperation and team work regardless of their personal differences.
In this opportunity, I would like to express my deep appreciation to Ms Hanny as the Head of the Committee, Mr Fahri as the Director, all supporting teachers and staffs, also Ittihada for their endless and unconditional support and dedication.
