Due to the diphtheria outbreaks, the government conducted a diphtheria vaccination program. Mutiara Harapan Islamic School also has to participate in this program. That is why on 10^th and 11^th of January there was a diphtheria vaccination for all grades in MHIS. Preschool and secondary students were vaccinated on the 10^th of January. As for primary students, they were vaccinated on the 11^th of January.

There are three stages of this vaccination. This was the first one or referred to as ORI I. The ORI II will be conducted one month after ORI I. For the third stage or ORI III will be conducted six month after the ORI III. Hopefully this program can prevent the diphtheria outbreaks!
