MHIS students were gathering to reflect and learn from the Hijra of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on Monday, October, 10. Hijra is the first day of the month of Muharram, Islamic New Year. New Year’s Day is used to remind Muslims of the Hijra or migration, of Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina as a time to renew spirits of becoming a better Muslim. We invite Kak Mal to delivered this message through story telling in front of KG up to Secondary students. They learnt excitedly. In addition, we were also having dzikir and dua together to be filled our following years with joy and peacefulness.
